As an instructor for the First-Year Interest Group Seminars at Rutgers, I developed a one-credit seminar course to aid first-year students exploring academic, career, and co-curricular opportunities related to theater. Through a survey of topics in theater, in-class activities, thoughtful discussions, and assignments, the course was intended to help students develop a plan for a successful Rutgers experience.

Introduction to Theatre Arts

Introduction to Theatre Arts is an 8-week self-paced virtual course intended to provide a comprehensive introduction to the world of theater arts.

I led this curriculum development working alongside a team of virtual theater instructors and undergraduate education students to create an introductory standards-aligned theater experience.

Acting

Grades 6-8

This acting class was developed for a performing arts academy to introduce high-performing middle school students to fundamental acting theory, approaching textual material, and the inherent and necessary self-reflective that elevates one’s acting craft.
