Artistic Statement

"My approach to stage direction is grounded in facilitating an atmosphere for the actor to discover truth in the circumstances of the work. I believe that honest storytelling emerges from a process of trust and collaboration. I start each production with a clear vision, but that vision serves as a springboard and an invitation for the creative team and actors to participate in a shared investigation of the work. Theater is a conversation between the actors, the audience, and the world we live in."
